Expect things to be different

Let’s co-design a more inclusive workplace together

You’re here to help create more inclusive workplace cultures, where relationships are centred on trust, empathy and allyship.

By exploring simple ways to help shift perceptions from bias and assumption-led to ones of curiosity, you can build your understanding and skills to interrupt non-inclusive behaviour.

As a result, you’ll become a better ally.

Navigating this self-guided experience

You’ll navigate through a number of self-guided experiences via our new learning platform.

This self-guided experience is a combination of co-design, immersive tech, to ultimately build emotional intelligence.

  • You’ll explore various topics relating to recognising and interrupting non-inclusive behaviour
  • Experience common workplace interactions and encounter instances of bias and non-inclusive behaviour; designed in a Virtual Reality app that has been adapted to your web browser
  • Share reflections on your experience, and how this might impact your workplace via short surveys
  • Note: given the average employee has 24mins per week to learn, and each lesson will take approximately 10-15mins to complete, we suggest to break up the lessons and complete in intervals over a 4 week period; *learn more about micro-learning and learning in the flow of work here

The course is different.

To create an innovative learning in the flow of work experience, we have developed a blended experience that includes lots of new types of content and innovative e-learning methods.

With two key technology innovations:

  • Virtual Reality app learning simulations adapted to web browsers
  • and the learning system to support them

In addition to things like:

  • TikTok videos
  • Written articles
  • Reflection surveys
  • Links to external resources

We’re on the journey with you

It’s not hard, it’s just new.

Much of the above is new, and may require you to overlook unfinished aspects. We are in the process of developing guides to help navigate issues we are aware of, and Brennan and Sarah are available for support if you need us.

One example is lesson progression. It would be ideal for the next lesson button to be at the bottom of the page, we are aware of this and working on it. However, for now, after each lesson, you will need to go back to the top of the page and click “Complete and Continue”.
